Senior Pricing Specialist – Freight Forwarding

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Pricing Specialist based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Senior Pricing Specialist will be responsible for preparing competitive pricing proposals, analyzing market trends, and coordinating with internal departments such as sales and operations. Other duties include maintaining relationships with clients and vendors, analyzing freight costs, optimizing profitability, and providing pricing strategies to support the business. The role requires effective negotiation with service providers and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while delivering cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Offer quotes to current and prospective clients.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs to develop effective pricing strategies.
• Evaluate costs associated with shipping, including transportation, customs, and handling fees.
• Negotiate prices and services with customers and carriers.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, ensuring accurate information is available to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to pricing and contracts.
