Electrical Engineering Team Leader

 – Prepare and manage the electrical shop drawing list (E1) with related dependable issue and material list.
 – Prepare electrical shop drawings from 3D BIM models according to IFC and project standards.
 – Review electrical shop drawings derived from IFC designs before submission.
 – Lead and manage the electrical team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
 – Follow up on technical issues ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable codes (IEC, BS, NEC, etc.).
 – Review contract documents including drawings, BOQ, and specifications for completeness.
 – Coordinate daily with Architectural, Structural, and Mechanical teams to ensure all systems are fully integrated.
 – Conduct weekly meetings with team members to align progress with schedule and targets.
 – Attend site coordination meetings to ensure engineering updates reflect actual site conditions.
 – Identify and resolve technical and constructability issues in early stages.
 – Coordinate between engineering, construction, procurement, and subcontractors to resolve electrical-related problems.
 – Review subcontractors’ electrical drawings before formal submission.
 – Support the Section Head with maintaining technical logs (events, additional items, lessons learned, etc.).
 – Ensure the implementation of electrical engineering methodology and adherence to company standards.
 – Review delays or pending RFIs raised by the Planning Department and ensure justifications are submitted.
