Job Description

Responsible for managing the daily Store Operations and Store Team activities to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the same in achieving the brand targeted results and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards in line with the brand Standards.

Policies & Processes

  • Ensure proper implementation of the F&B Operations department’s policies and processes in order to achieve the department’s objectives.

Store Management Responsibilities

  • Accountable for P & L for the store. Responsible for the strategic & operational development of the business preposition. Identify opportunities to increase sales, control cost and manage appropriate inventory and cost of goods
  • Monitor all restaurant operations to ensure the compliance of the same with the brand set Policies and Standards (Quality of service provided and food, food preparation steps, sanitation and cleanliness, etc.).
  • Manage the preparation and serving of food and non-food items in accordance with the recipes manual, portioning and quality standards.
  • Analyze product mix and build a par level to avoid product shortages and over stocks and to manage wastages as per the required target by the brand.
  • Ensure accuracy of daily, weekly, monthly inventory
  • Manage the preparation of team schedules according to the anticipated business activity to ensure having enough team members during peak hours
  • Always ensure proper communication between the Store Team and customers to ensure positive response to all customers in friendly and courteous manner.
  • Handle complicated issues related to the Store Team and/ or customers to ensure providing customers with an outstanding experience and increase their satisfaction.

People Management

  • Lead & develop the team, ensuring that the brand is correctly supported now & for the future.
  • Decide training & development programs to ensure all individuals are developed to their maximum potential.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisal for the subordinates to review their performance and recommend rewards and promotions based on employee performance.
  • Ensure training & development initiatives are successfully delivered and provide feedback to the direct manager.
  • Manage employees leave and absence and ensure proper replacement during employee’s annual leave

Reports

  • Prepare and submit reports as required which cover all the Stores activities which include budget activity, restaurant/café performance, marketing practices, customer satisfaction and identification of potential problems.
