Project Manager – Concrete Works

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the execution of all reinforced concrete works on site (foundations, columns, beams, slabs). 
• Review shop drawings and ensure their constructability. 
• Coordinate with the technical office regarding any modifications or conflicts. 
• Prepare quantity surveying for concrete works. 
• Monitor project schedules and ensure adherence to deadlines. 
• Supervise subcontractors’ work and approvals. 
• Ensure application of quality control standards and concrete testing. 
• Follow up on material deliveries and verify compliance with specifications. 
• Resolve technical issues on site efficiently and promptly. 
• Coordinate with consultants and obtain approvals. 
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports. 
• Lead the site team (engineers, supervisors, foremen). 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. 
•  10– 15  years of experience in contracting companies (site execution). 
• Strong experience in on-site concrete works (not design only). 
• Good knowledge of the Egyptian code and technical specifications. 
• Proficiency in reading structural and execution drawings. 

Technical Skills:

• AutoCAD 
• Excel 
• Knowledge of software such as Primavera 

Core Skills:

• Leadership and team management on site. 
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong communication skills with consultants and subcontractors. 
• Problem-solving and quick decision-making. 
• Attention to quality and detail. 

Additional Advantages:

• Experience in large-scale projects (towers, compounds, industrial facilities). 
• Ability to manage multiple sites (strong advantage). 
• Background in finishing works is a plus. 

Work Conditions:

• Mostly site-based work. 
• Extended working hours depending on project requirements.
