Digital Solutions Supervisor, the Applications Specialist must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Information Technology Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will work with project leads, designers and other developers in the design and development of functional web, SharePoint and mobile applications and data and web services, including accompanying technical and functional documentation for the innovative, accessible and high quality facilitation of institutional communication.
Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience in a similar or, related and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Applications Specialist. The successful candidate is responsible for data processing solutions to enhance the college’s ERP systems. The successful candidate will analyze existing SharePoint and web applications, software and business processes, in order to maintain functionality, and provide recommendations and designs to increase optimization.
Candidates will maintain documentation to track process and programming changes and ensure accurate record keeping and monitoring, support users while operating within an ITIL framework, respond to +web-based technology issues, and identify causes and implementation solutions as well as, employ coding and data protection practices to ensure compliance and data security across all systems and databases, in adherence with College policies.
Candidates will support the creation of technical and user documentation for key functionality and the provision of basic training to end users, and ensure consistency and compliance as outlined in college data and software policies.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT or related field.
Fluency in written and spoken English language.
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language, is preferred.
Other Required Skills:
A proactive can-do attitude to work and good time management is essential. Strong analytical, problem solving skills are required. Knowledge of applications and software development is required; knowledge of education technologies, application development and systems integration is required. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organization is required. A Commitment to ongoing IT training and continuous professional development is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English language is required.
