Job Description:
A reputable construction company specializing in fit-out & joinery works for hotels and luxury projects , looking for a Junior QS Engineer
Job Description:
• Study and interpret architectural, structural drawings as well as specifications, and tender documents thoroughly.
• Perform detailed and accurate quantity take-offs for all civil, architectural, and finishing works in accordance with standard measurement rules and Method of measurement of tender.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Identify and flag any discrepancies, ambiguities, or missing information in tender documents and raise it accordingly
• Prepare RFQ to send to different suppliers.
• Review the supplier’s quotations and compare them with the tender requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers to get lowest price and best conditions.
• Assist in any other tasks as required within his scope of work.
