Ensure company documentation and process are in line with company policy and management directivesTo monitor all IVMS (in vehicle monitoring system) transport activities and track the. Communicate on positive and negative feedback in meetings on the data shown and take the appropriate action as necessary and also log details.To induct and train new hires (Drivers) into the crews JM system. Conduct Journey briefing to all drivers prior any journey To carry out a check of all vehicle ‘Daily Vehicle Checklists’, and compile a daily report listing all faults and equipment deficiencies. These reports are to be sent to the Senior Mechanic and the Department Head , for equipment deficienciesMonitor MSE vehicles on vehicles tracking and report violations to the respective divisions.Monitor Fuel consumption vs KM driven and generate reports for all MSE vehiclesMonitor driver violations in real time and report them to HSEQ manager and division headsContact drivers to notify/Warn them when committing any traffic violations e.g. Over speeding., Not wearing seat belts , using vehicles out of permitted geo fencing etc.Maintain driving /Journey logs compile daily reportsManage night driving and ensure that Night driving permits have been acquired prior the start of any night driving journeysMonitor maintenance requirements through IVMS and notify division heads when service for vehicles is dueSelect best drivers using IVMS and report to divisionReport dangerous drivers to division headsDeliver safe driving tips to all new drivers Monitor Vehicles with Khalda passes and ensure to brief the driver prior departing to any customer locationSet / reset speed controls as and when necessary but, also ‘more often’ record data in the very early days of production and on new drivers To ensure the Daily JM Log is accurate and kept up to date throughout the day. This is to show all transport activitiesTo make random and frequent checks (on crew at the gate) to ensure that the JM procedures are being followed and complied with.
