Finance Officer Finance OfficerLocation: Abu Dhabi, AE SynopsisFinance officer will report to Manager Cargo Revenue Accounting and within the Financial Reporting and Control (FR&C) Department.Accountabilities• Accounting of cargo sales (CASS/NON CASS, Interline and Mail billing in Revera- CRA system on a periodic basis. • Flown accounting and exception clearance (including open sectors) on daily and monthly basis. • Billing dispute management and accounting of charge correction advices (CCA’s) • Preparation of Control account reconciliations eg, Forward Sales, Sales clearing, Interline, Mail Billing etc • Perform periodic reconciliations between reservation system, Revenue accounting system and ERP system. • Managing SLA deliveries with the service provider including cargo audits. • Validation and processing GSA commissions and GKA incentives. • Preparation of revenue accruals journals on unprocessed AWB’s. • Preparation of cost accrual journals relating to RPC cost, commissions, incentives, IATA subscriptions etc. • Engaged in the testing and attestation of ICFR controls • Liaising with internal and external auditorsTechnical skills• Proficient with Microsoft excel and hands on experience in revenue accounting and ERP systems. • In-depth knowledge in general accounting principles/procedures and internal controls. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects with minimal supervision. • Analytical skills and attention to details Education & Experience• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field • 3 years + experience in airline revenue accounting is preferred.About Etihad AirwaysEtihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, was formed in 2003 and quickly went on to become one of the world’s leading airlines.
