Job Description
- Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train team members as required
- Facilitate event planning – Birthday Parties camps, playdates, school trips, pyjama parties, etc.
- Establish good working relationships internally and externally
- Provide training and guidance to team members
- Co-ordinate and communicate with the Training manager to ensure that all team members undergo regular training
- Actively participate in all internal/external training required for the job
- Stay aware of market trends and monitor what local competitors are doing
- Always create schedules for adequate and efficient staffing
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
- Proactively build and maintain customer relationships
- Promoting the company locally by liaising with local schools, newspapers, and the community in general
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Business preferred
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role in the service industry is preferred
