Job Description:

manage and oversee all technical office activities, ensuring that project execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements, while maintaining effective coordination between site, design teams, and stakeholders.

???? Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Office Management

  • Lead and manage the technical office team (Shop Drawings, Quantity Surveying, Planning).
  • Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
  • Review and approve all technical documents before submission.

2. Shop Drawings

  • Review and approve shop drawings prior to execution.
  • Ensure compliance with design drawings and project specifications.
  • Coordinate between different disciplines (Civil, Architectural, MEP) to resolve conflicts.

3. Quantity Surveying

  • Review and prepare quantity take-offs.
  • Prepare and review monthly invoices/interim payment certificates.
  • Monitor project costs and compare with the budget.

4. Site Coordination

  • Provide technical support to site engineers.
  • Resolve technical issues during construction.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure alignment with the project schedule.

5. Consultant & Client Coordination

  • Prepare and submit RFIs (Requests for Information).
  • Manage and follow up on submittals (materials, drawings, samples).
  • Attend technical meetings and represent the company.

6. Planning & Progress Monitoring

  • Coordinate with planning engineers to review project schedules.
  • Track progress and identify delays or deviations.
  • Propose corrective actions to maintain timelines.

7. Variation Orders & Claims

  • Evaluate variation orders and their impact.
  • Prepare and support claims when required.
  • Assess technical and financial implications of changes.
