Objectives:
Our client, a leading investment bank in the MENA region, is looking for a Senior Operations Officer to join their team in KSA, Riyadh. The main objective for this role is to supervise and check the processes of Back Office activities and follow suitable Operations Policies and Procedures in line with BSA, CMA and SAMA rules and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises activities related to Back Office Operations with Operations Manager.
- Handles projects related to Back Office ensuring that processes and reconciliations are done correctly and on a timely manner.
- Makes sure activities are in line with the internal and regulatory (CMA & SAMA) rules and guidelines.
- Updates Clients’ accounts and portfolios including proper registration of Clients Holdings and maintenance of Clients information.
- Cash & Accounts Management including Funds & Stocks transfers, payments (withdrawals and deposits), and cash transfers.
- End of Day processes, reconciliation, netting and paying/receiving net trading amounts and commissions to the respective A/C’s.
- Performs Foreign Exchange transactions.
- Manages the processes of purchases, redemptions, subscriptions, and reconciliation related Asset Management activities.
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance.
- Good in MS Office programs.
- Training courses related to Operations.
- CME1 certified.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills (MS Office, Internet).
