AREIC, a prominent Real Estate Company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a diligent and skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions, posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts regularly.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, including variance analysis and recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in tax planning and compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, to ensure adherence to government regulations and optimize tax efficiency.
- Financial Systems Management: Utilize accounting software and other financial tools effectively to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- +3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
