Job Description
- Under supervision and jointly with another safety officer carry out construction safety inspection relating and ensuring compliance with all necessary safety, health and environmental regulations.
- As a member of the investigation team carry out joint accident / incident investigation.
- Under supervision carry out joint follow up site safety inspection to ensure previous reports are closed out.
- To monitor site operation is in-line and comply with ADPHC / OSHAD, DM or Local regulatory requirements.
- To ensure statutory minimum safety, health and environmental standards in the workplace are adhered to.
- To support and to promote a safe work environment.
- To coordinate with production team to ensure various safety inspection and testing programs are implemented and maintained.
All other duties as assigned with consent by the Group HSE Manager.
Skills
- IOSH Managing Safely certificate (NVQ level 2 equivalent) mandatory; NEBOSH General Certificate in OHS (or NVQ level 3 equivalent) or OSHA 10 Hours General Industry Safety and Health Program preferred; other HSE related training desirable.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field of Health and Safety in engineering construction projects.
