Job Description

Business Operations

  • Coordinate the day-to-day business development activities and processes for portfolio of the department as well as the acquisition of new customers in order to facilitate the achievement of Corporate banking growth objectives.
  • Provide administration, operations support and related services to RMs, and other business units, including correspondence screening, payment of invoices, processing of expenses, arrangement of travel, scheduling appointments, conference calls, prepare presentation materials and workload management.
  • Handle operational matters on accounts management, including new account set-up and respond to queries and requests from other business units, clients and correspondent banking relationship.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual review of bank and country limits, and periodic country exposure reports.
  • Manage custody and maintenance of relevant database.
  • Undertake special assignments such as participation, meetings and travel arrangements for bank participation in major banking industry events.
  • Coordinate a number of departmental activities on behalf of the reporting manager, planning meetings and conferences’ activities, department reward and recognition programs.
  • Provide credit, MIS and operational support to the RMs and business units and prepare various internal reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis. Attention to accuracy and completeness of reporting.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

  • Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Statements and Reports

  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet CBQ and department requirements, policies and standards.

Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment

  • Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
