A leading organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement and Contracts Team Leader to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the purchasing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement and contracts management, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the organization’s goals and objectives.
  2. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying sourcing needs to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  3. Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and pricing.
  5. Negotiate and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  6. Monitor supplier performance and develop strategies to improve supplier relationships and performance.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions and recommendations.
  8. Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and contracts management.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and contracts management, preferably in a leadership role.
  3. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and legal requirements.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  5. Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage a team and drive results.
  6. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  7. Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
  8. Knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and regulations is preferred.
  9. Professional certifications in procurement and contracts management are a plus.
