Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The Talent Management & OD Manager primary responsibility is recruitment, selection, promotion evaluation and lateral transfer within the group sectors. In addition, responsibility is to match people with positions to ensure maximum productivity and motivation for each employee in the sector reflected to group. The TM & OD Manager must have thorough knowledge of both job requirements and employees potential.  Information on performance evaluation and training must be carefully analysed by him to ensure placing the right people in the right positions. 

For the part of OD projects he works closely with HR Director to assist in prepare & execute and launching the HR projects as per yearly HR agenda & plan for the sector.   

The Talent Management & OD Manager works under the direction of the Sector HR Director.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Recruitment / Talent Acquisition

  • Ensures the implementation of policies, procedures and programs on recruiting, selection, performance evaluation, promotion and transfers. 
  • Ensures proper implementation of Manpower planning procedures in the sector across the business functions.
  • Designs and launches effective recruiting campaigns for different job groups; suggests appropriate recruiting channels for different job groups.
  • Receives all employment requests and produces short lists for each vacant position.
  • Performs background and reference check on recruits prior to hiring.
  • Communicates with applicants regarding processing their employment applications.
  • Ensure proper arrangement for interview meetings with applicants according to Selection Policy; and proper coordination between interview panel members and applicants for time and location of interviews.
  • Ensures compliance with governmental Saudization requirements.
  • Prepare and provide Saudization and manpower plan weekly, monthly & yearly report to HR Director.
  • Responsible for all recruitments process with compliance Internal Control System/ Audit requirements.
  • Manage job offer and employment contract preparations to match budget for approval by HR Director.
  • Manage Internship program events and career fair.
  • Responsible for Trainees, Outsources, Temp & Consultancy Contract.
  • Ensure preparation of new hires announcement process “confirmation and circulation”.
  • Ensure proper Implementation of orientation programs for newly hired employees.
  • Follows up with Department Managers on the performance of newly hired employees during probation period.
  • Managing career portal development and transactions for Sector page. 
  • Ensure continuous Update of Recruitment tracker on weekly basis make presentation for new hiring and recruitment actions take place to Sr. management team. 

OD / HR Projects 

  • Launching & Lead Performance Management System PMS project in terms of results by functions and analysis.  
  • Supervision on the implementation and analysis of PMS results on SF system with preparing quarterly action plan.
  • Coordinate with department’s manager to prepare and update job description for each position in the company (when needed).
  • Responsible to supervise and assist HR Director to monitor PIP/ IDP, Career Plan & Talent management for all staff and to keep management updated quarterly with improvement results.
  • Prepare with sector Line Managers Training Gap Analysis / Training Needs Analysis in order to design training matrix report for implementation on yearly basis and take inconsideration priority for business and available budget.
  • Prepare and provide monthly reports to HR Director to explain the status of Recruitment, OD Projects, staff Training plan and results.
  • Assumes other related responsibilities specified by the HR Director

This position includes high interaction level with different functions within the organisation working at a collaborative and highly energetic environment.
