Job Description
– Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals to design mechanical systems for new construction projects, as well as renovations and upgrades to existing structures.
– Creating detailed mechanical plans and specifications, including drawings, schematics, and blueprints, that outline the design and construction process.
– Selecting and specifying mechanical components, such as motors, pumps, valves, and HVAC equipment, based on project requirements and industry standards.
– Conducting calculations and simulations to ensure that mechanical systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant codes and regulations.
– Overseeing the installation and testing of mechanical systems, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during construction or operation.
– Conducting research on new technologies and materials, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
