Job Description

Under limited supervision of direct reporting authority, responsible for and aims at understanding the client and market trends, preferences, needs and reproduce those into competitive plans that aims at enhancing and improving the quality and growth of the services of hospital and sustain the market position of the hospital. To oversee all marketing related staff and activities, in alignment with vision, mission and values of the hospital.

  1. Plans strategically and operationally for the departmental functions based on internal and external functions.
  2. Recommends; prepares and adheres to budgets and ensure to deliver all marketing activities within the agreed budget.
  3. Develops with hospital internal departments and care providers marketing plan that improves market share, differentiation and customer needs.
  4. Improves services marketability and profitability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on the market opportunities, improving services packaging.
  5. Oversees the various functions of the department, which enhances hospital position, turnover, advertising, public relations, media relations and market intelligence.
  6. Responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of social media and digital initiatives, website management, loyalty programs etc.
  7. Achieves frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.
  8. Prepares complete presentation of any advertising/promotional campaign to CEO.
  9. Oversees creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials such as posters, brochures, flyers etc and ensure brand messages are consistent
  10. Manages and maintain all the archived events of the hospital– soft and hardcopy.
  11. Ensures hospital facility, clinics and surroundings with updated brochures, handouts, video materials etc.
  12. Creates a solid branding message that’s reflected across all hospital marketing materials and shared by employees.
  13. Leads the marketing team that will develop and execute new concepts, and channels to position hospital as innovator and leader.
  14. Manages the team members ‘responsibilities, conduct team meetings, and motivate team members.
  15. Coordinates and participate in promotional activities and trade shows and corporate responsibility projects
  16. Performs day-to-day administrative tasks and submitting regular reports to the management.
  17. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
  18. Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  19. Establishes realistic and challenging operational goals/ objectives, prioritizes well, projects needs and resources, anticipates problems and implements plans, overall leading to highly performing unit/ department.
  20. Exercises effective control over subordinates to achieve objectives set; appraises objectively, provides apt feedback, coaches, provides positive reinforcement and recognition appropriately; resolves conflicts
  21. Coordinates effectively with other services/ disciplines and in a systematic manner
  22. Ensures staffs are trained based on identified training needs and measures outcomes / objectives met. Pays careful attention to staff potential and facilitates career path.
  23. Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) are complied.
  24. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Hospital Administration.
