Job Description
- Supervise the drafting and the revision of SAMACO contractual agreements
- Review contractual agreements related to prospective business ventures or vendors and provide necessary advisory support to relevant stakeholders around the legal implication of business decisions
- Provide legal support in relation to potential licensing queries, issues and/or disputes
- Provide legal advisory on contractual negotiations as necessary
- Manage the research and gather evidence on legal cases, and represent SAMACO in lawsuits as necessary
- Manage the communications and coordination process with external legal advisors/ firms for support in legal lawsuits as required
- Settle disputes on behalf of SAMACO and actively represent the organization in such proceedings
- Monitor regulations that might influence the overall business of SAMACO and ensure the provision of necessary reports to the leadership
- Perform extensive legal research and analysis and prepare legal opinions, studies, briefs, reports and correspondence as necessary
- Ensure the existence and maintenance of a secure storage system for legal matters including casework, research materials, advice notes, precedents, etc.
Skills
Educational Certificate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Commercial Law, Competition Law or equivalent specialization(s) from a recognized academic institution
Language Required:
- Fluent in Arabic and English
Experience / Background Required:
- Working with Law firm office
Experience Required :
- Three Years minimum
