Job Description

An IT Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure. They are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and servers. The IT Administrator is also responsible for providing technical support to all employees, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring the security of company data and systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
  3. Provide technical support and assistance to employees, resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.
  4. Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring security and data integrity.
  5. Perform regular system backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place.
  6. Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data and systems.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, including user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  9. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
  10. Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT administration or a related field.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
  4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  8. Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  9. Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
  10. Knowledge of IT security best practices.
