Job Description
- -Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to accurately assess the ironmongery requirements for various projects.
- Prepare detailed and comprehensive hardware schedules for projects.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and submit proposals and bids for client projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and pricing.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients and the sales team regarding ironmongery selections and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
- Perform site visits when necessary to ensure accuracy of estimates and suitability of proposed solutions.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in estimation, preferably in the architectural hardware or joinery/ fit-out industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
- Knowledge of building codes and standards relevant to architectural hardware will be an advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of REVIT is an added advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
