Job Description
- Initiate and maintain communication with industry analysts and influencers providing relevant information and sector’s updates to raise awareness on Egypt internationally and ensure Egypt is well positioned in the different industry ranks and reports.
- Develop initiatives for promoting Egypt’s IT industry, including partnerships with international organizations and participation in international events
- Maintain the required follow up and account management with different stakeholders (international organizations, local and foreign market players, etc.) to ensure efficient implementation of marketing programs
- Prepare projects’ budget forecasts and related reports, including evaluation reports about the different marketing activities, and recommend improvements
- Analyzing the export portfolio of Egyptian and foreign Service Providers as well as captive centers (shared service centers)including types of services offered and markets, verticals and clients served to showcase the success of the sector.
- Reviewing the key market trends and demand patterns in different markets as well as competing locations landscapes and initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities through mapping the services offered by the Egyptian industry to the demand patterns in different markets.
- Formulate Go-To-Market initiatives and oversee implementation of Go-To-Market programs and in cooperation with different stakeholders
- Maintain strong digital presence to assist in the promotion of Egypt internationally; this includes social media (especially LinkedIn and Twitter) and thought leadership in relevant articles and reports.
- Managing different programs for supporting the export growth potentials of the industry.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit, including setting objectives for subordinates, directing work; assigning tasks, and appraising performance
Skills
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or any related discipline, Master degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience.
- Great Knowledge of the ICT industry in terms of terminology, business drivers, challenges, market landscape, etc.
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with executive management, key influencers and decision makers within the organizations
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficient computer skills and perfect command of MS Office.
