Information Security Analyst

Job Brief:Information security analysts plan and carry out security measures to protect an organization’s computer networks and systems.
Responsibilities:Monitor organization’s networks for security breaches and investigate a violation when one occursPrepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breachesResearch the latest information technology (IT) security trendsDevelop security standards and best practices for the organizationHelp computer users when they need to install or learn about new security products and proceduresConduct penetration testing, and simulate attacks to look for vulnerabilities in the systems before they can be exploited
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.Experience in information security or related field.Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
