Job Description :

Managing the financial reporting for the university. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial plans and all statutory financial reporting.Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the Senior Management to make critical business decisions.Presentation of financial results and insights to the BoardPlaying a key role in the formulation of the business’s strategyManaging and overseeing the taxation affairs of the universityManaging and overseeing the cash flow of the university and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controlsManaging and overseeing the university’s financial systemsInvestment appraisal and analysisTraining, mentoring and development of staffOverseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Financial and Management Accounting functions.Risk Management to ensure the university has a solid risk framework in place.Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information.Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs.

Job Requirements :

BSc in Accounting and finance, master’s degree is preferred.At least 10 years of experience in the same field.Previous experience in a private university is a plus.Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Excellent command in English Language verbal and written.Fine attention to details.
