Finance Manager/مدير مالي

A leading company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the private sector. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to the organization. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reports to senior management.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the finance department.
2. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including the preparation of annual budgets and regular financial forecasts.
3. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize financial outcomes.
4. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
5. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Manage cash flow and working capital, optimizing liquidity and minimizing financial risk.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making processes.
8. Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their skills and performance.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial management, implementing relevant changes to enhance the organization’s financial performance.
10. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage the relationship with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 12 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the private sector.
2. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
3. Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
5. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
6. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Experience with financial software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
10. Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
