Dental Technician (Implant Specialist)

A dental technician is responsible for fabricating dental restorations, such as crowns, bridges, and dentures, to restore or improve the function and appearance of a patient’s teeth. As an Implant Specialist, you will focus specifically on designing and creating dental restorations for dental implants. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail to ensure the restorations fit properly and meet the patient’s needs.

Responsibilities:

 

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 1-7 years of experience as a dental technician, with a focus on implant restorations.
2. Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and dental laboratory equipment.
3. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity to accurately create dental restorations.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with dentists and other dental professionals.
5. Knowledge of dental anatomy and occlusion to ensure the proper fit and function of the dental restorations.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
7. Experience with digital dentistry and 3D printing is a plus.
8. Knowledge of dental laboratory safety protocols and infection control procedures.
9. Ability to adapt to new techniques and technologies as they emerge in the field of dental technology.
