Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Director to join our team in Riyadh, focusing on the role of Construction Management Office (CMO). The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in construction management within the consulting industry, particularly in landscaping programs. The Construction Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing project execution, ensuring quality, and driving successful delivery in Riyadh.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Construction Management Office (CMO) for projects in Riyadh.
- Oversee all construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the construction teams, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration across disciplines.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve project objectives efficiently.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Implement best practices in construction management and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and performance.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Over 15 years of progressive experience in construction management, with a focus on consultancies.
- Extensive experience in landscaping programs or related projects is essential.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex construction projects.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) would be advantageous.
