Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Notifying senior accountants of accounting errors
- Maintains historical records by filing documents
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, inventory records etc. as assigned
- Assisting in preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Assist with other accounting tasks
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Fluent in English
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- High level of accuracy and attention to details
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
