Job Description: Accountant Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team with a background in the travel & tourism industry. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.Analyze financial data and provide insights to management regarding financial performance, trends, and forecasts.Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections.Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.Provide support during external audits and tax filings.Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
Job Requirements :
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.Travel & Tourism Industry ExperienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
