Job Description
- Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws. Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department/division.
- Provides the highest attainable standard of patient care according to his/her clinical privileges and available resources.
- Carries out full range of inpatient and outpatient clinical duties as assigned by the director of department!head of division and the Consultant in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges.
- Participates in the on-call duties as required by the department/division.
- Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care (Total Quality Management Programme, Quality Assessment Improvement Programme) as applicable.
- Teaches staff assigned for training purposes and participates with the director of department} head of division and the Consultant in planning a programme of career development for trainees.
- Fulfils the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education.
- Participates in and/or actively supports approved research projects.
- Deputizes for his/her superior as required and shares workload in his/her specialty during the absence of his/her colleagues.
- Strives to improve his/her clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness.
- Participates in the Major Disaster Plan of the hospital, as indicated.
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities.
Qualifications Requirements:
Saudi SCFHS License.
Skills
- Medical Qualifications:Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from an accredited medical school or university.
- Certification or equivalent specialized training in Dermatology from a recognized institution.
- Clinical Expertise:In-depth knowledge of various dermatological methods, including diagnosis, treatment, and management.
- Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in dermatology terminology and understanding of common skin conditions.
- Patient Communication:Active communication skills to effectively explain medical terms and treatment options to patients.
- Compassion and empathy in dealing with patients’ concerns and questions.
- Attention to Detail:Strong focus on accuracy and precision in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Thoroughness in documenting patient history, examination findings, and treatment plans.
