**Role Summary:**

The Workshop Planner is responsible for the management and oversight of workshop planning activities to ensure the optimal allocation of technicians, equipment, and resources in order to meet daily operational objectives. This role necessitates the maintenance of balanced workload distribution, the accurate scheduling of job orders, and consistent communication among reception, parts, and workshop personnel. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maximizing productivity and customer satisfaction through the optimization of workshop throughput and revenue performance, in accordance with both OEM and company standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Plan and distribute the daily workload among technicians, taking into consideration skill levels, job priorities, and the availability of service bays.
* Review and monitor the progress of all active job orders to ensure timely completion and minimize delays.
* Coordinate with service advisors, parts department, and DMTs to facilitate efficient job flow and minimize idle time.
* Maintain and update the DMS scheduling board, ensuring the accuracy of real-time job status information.
* Support the Aftersales Manager in the tracking of key workshop performance indicators (KPIs), such as efficiency, productivity, and recovery rate.
* Ensure that warranty and internal repair jobs are appropriately scheduled to mitigate potential bottlenecks.
* Uphold HSSE standards within the workshop environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations during all operations.

**Required Skills and Competencies:**

* Demonstrated communication and coordination skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and DMS systems.
* Commitment to HSSE standards and operational excellence.
* Data-driven approach to planning and reporting.

**Qualifications:**

* Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Five to seven years of experience in automotive customer service/reception, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity.
* Comprehensive knowledge of workshop operations, job order processes, and DMS systems (SAP / Kerridge / Autoline preferred).
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
