Job Description:The individual will be responsible for the following:

1. **Warehouse Operations Management:** Direct and oversee daily warehouse operations, encompassing material receipt, storage, and dispatch. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Maintain inventory accuracy through coordinated stock counts and audits. Optimize space utilization and ensure warehouse organization adheres to best practice standards.

2. **Inventory Control:** Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain adequate stock while minimizing overstock and obsolescence. Implement inventory control measures to prevent shortages, excess, and discrepancies. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and enhance operational efficiency.

3. **Team Leadership and Development:** Lead and manage warehouse personnel, including training, performance management, and career development initiatives. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols. Cultivate a team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement and employee engagement.

4. **Compliance and Safety:** Ensure warehouse compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and all applicable legal requirements. Implement safety programs and procedures to protect employees and minimize workplace accidents. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure proper equipment maintenance.

5. **Reporting and Analysis:** Prepare periodic reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and key performance indicators. Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for operational improvement. Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

6. **Budgeting and Cost Control:** Assist in the development and management of the warehouse budget, including labor, equipment, and operational expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements. Monitor expenses to ensure operations remain within the approved budgetary parameters.
