Job Description :
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees’ performance.Organize and maintain inventory and storage areaEnsure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracyCommunicate job expectations and develop and coach employees.Determine staffing levels and assign workloadMaintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse statusIdentify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practicesConfer and coordinate activities with other departmentsOversee pricing and stock control:Make sure popular products are always in stock to prevent missing out on salesDetermine efficient reorder points and reduce warehousing costsPrevent thefts or losses Making sure that they are serving customers properlyHandle administrative tasksManage the store budgetsReport statistical and financial records of the storeEnsure compliance with health and safety legislationWorks on the SAP program or similar programsIt operates a complete system for stores
Job Requirements :
Proven work experience as a Warehouse SupervisorHighly effective supervisory skills and techniquesKnowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiencyAbility to input, retrieve and analyze dataHands-on commitment to getting the job doneExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to direct and coordinate operationsStrong organizational and time management skillsBS degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administrationWorks on the SAP program or similar programs
