Job Description:The incumbent is responsible for the following:

* Developing and implementing preventative, periodic, and comprehensive maintenance programs for all plant equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure optimal performance in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

* Reviewing reports submitted by maintenance shift engineers, addressing instances of deferred or inadequately resolved troubleshooting, providing recommended corrective actions, and monitoring their implementation to ensure appropriate maintenance protocols.

* Identifying and procuring necessary spare parts for all equipment, tools, and machinery, verifying warehouse availability, and initiating purchase requests to the procurement department as required to ensure timely availability.

* Inspecting all delivered spare parts to confirm adherence to purchase request specifications.

* Analyzing recurring troubleshooting incidents, implementing design modifications to minimize spare part consumption and reduce repair times.

* Developing the annual budget for utilities and facilities.

* Overseeing comprehensive building maintenance, encompassing roofing, cladding, flooring, drainage, plumbing, security infrastructure, site upkeep, space planning, corrosion prevention, and energy management.

* Monitoring the operation of industrial services to maximize efficiency, managing the mechanical workshop for the fabrication and repair of spare parts and tools, and fulfilling service requests from all plant departments.

* Monitoring machine, equipment, and tool status through daily logs and records reviewed by mechanical engineers or supervisors to facilitate updates to the periodic maintenance plan.

* Managing the inventory of mechanical section spare parts.

* Conducting training needs analyses (including on-the-job training) to enhance the performance of the maintenance team, monitoring training implementation, evaluating training effectiveness, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
