Eaton invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Lifecycle Services Sales Engineer for Power Distribution, based in Dubai. **Position Overview:**
The Lifecycle Services Sales Engineer will be responsible for the sales and support of lifecycle services for Eaton Power, Motion Control, and Connectivity (PMCC) products and solutions within a designated customer base. This individual will collaborate closely with authorized service providers, customers, end users, and area sales managers to provide comprehensive sales and technical assistance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Drive business development, enhance forecast accuracy, and achieve strategic objectives by guiding key customers through the entire business cycle.
* Manage, cultivate, and execute a pipeline of new and existing accounts and opportunities.
* Expand the Power Distribution portfolio within the assigned cluster/country region.
* Collaborate with multiple departments to achieve measurable results that benefit the Power Distribution service business.
* Identify new service business opportunities and lead the promotion of Power Distribution service offerings.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive market intelligence, particularly within the UAE market, possessing expertise in Switchgear Service business, customer buying behaviors and criteria, and competitive differentiation strategies.
* Implement a proactive sales approach through mapping the installed base of Eaton legacy systems.
* Assess opportunities, conduct risk analyses, and coordinate product/solution development and offerings across relevant functions.
* Create a robust sales pipeline and maintain accurate client visit records, conducting a minimum of 5 visits per week to ensure effective market coverage.
* Analyze CRM data for the assigned cluster/country, focusing on pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, hit rate, and order development in relation to profit planning.
* Support the implementation of service contracts and agreements with key account customers within the respective cluster/country, ensuring prompt response to customer inquiries.
* Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer satisfaction ratings.
* Attend industry events and remain current on market trends, advancements, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development for power distribution products and solutions.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and resilience with a strong desire for professional growth.
* Experience in negotiating and managing customer relationships.
* Working knowledge of the relevant cluster/country market, trends, and competitors.
* Excellent communication skills, fluency in English is required, additional EMEA languages are advantageous.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Proactive change agent willing to assume appropriate levels of risk.
* Strong sense of urgency and unwavering customer focus.
