Job Description:**Option:**
The incumbent will be responsible for the management of daily cash operations, encompassing the monitoring of bank balances, processing of payments, and ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet business requirements. This role also entails the preparation and review of cash flow forecasts to facilitate both short-term and long-term financial planning. Further responsibilities include the timely reconciliation of bank statements and resolution of any discrepancies. The incumbent will assist in the execution of treasury transactions, such as fund transfers, foreign exchange dealings, and investments. Maintenance of meticulous records pertaining to all treasury-related activities and adherence to internal controls and company policies are paramount. The role necessitates coordination with internal departments to collect financial data and support overall treasury operations. The incumbent will contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures through the preparation of treasury-related reports and documentation. Serving as a liaison with banks and financial institutions for account management, negotiation of terms, and issue resolution is also required. The monitoring and reporting on the company’s debt, interest, and investment portfolios falls within the scope of responsibilities, as does contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives within the treasury function.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of cash management, banking operations, and financial instruments.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
