We make travel simple, safe, and accessible to everyone, everywhere.As part of a fast-growing travel-tech team spanning Iraq and the UAE, you’ll design experiences that inspire confidence, delight, and connection for every traveler who books with Rahal.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a hands-on Product Designer who can turn ideas into elegant, human-centered digital experiences.In this role, you’ll design the future of travel booking for millions of Qi users; from seamless flight and hotel journeys to emerging experiences like eSIMs and trip management. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to craft design that feels effortless, trustworthy, and distinctly Rahal. You’ll translate Rahal’s traveler-first vision into intuitive experiences, lead agile delivery with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve our OTA systems (flights, hotels, and digital add-ons like eSIMs)This is a hands-on role for a creative who obsesses over details, thrives in ambiguity, and brings a deep empathy for users across the MENA region.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & ExecutionLead the full design lifecycle -from concept sketches and wireframes to final high-fidelity visuals and developer-ready assets.Create design systems and component libraries that unify Rahal’s brand experience across the Super Qi ecosystem.Maintain design consistency while championing usability, accessibility, and performance.User Insight & TestingTranslate user data and qualitative research into actionable design decisions.Build and iterate interactive prototypes using Figma to test hypotheses and validate flows with real users.Conduct usability tests and A/B experiments to continuously improve the traveler experience.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketers to ensure designs meet traveler needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.Provide clear design specifications, interaction logic, and motion principles for development handoff.Conduct post-launch QA to ensure every pixel matches the design vision and performance expectations.Innovation & CraftStay ahead of UX trends in OTA, travel, and super-app ecosystems, integrating best practices from leaders like Booking.com, Hopper, and Careem.Push creative boundaries-explore how AI, personalization, and dynamic content can make Rahal the most loved travel companion in the region.QualificationsExperience: 2+ years in UX/UI or Product Design, ideally for mobile-first consumer products.Tools: Mastery in Figma for design, component creation, and prototyping.Portfolio: A strong, modern portfolio that demonstrates user-centered design thinking and clean, scalable interface solutions.Process: Experience designing end-to-end journeys- discovery, booking, payment, post-trip -or equivalent high-stakes transactional flows.Communication: Excellent collaboration and presentation skills; able to articulate rationale and guide stakeholders through design decisions.Highly DesiredTravel-Tech or Hospitality Experience: Understanding of OTA, booking, or loyalty ecosystems.Regional Insight: Familiarity with Arabic UX/UI, cultural nuances, and accessibility in the MENA context.Motion & Microinteractions: Bonus if you can bring experiences to life through animation and transitions that enhance usability and delight.Personality Traits????
