The Towing Dispatcher – Sales Associate is responsible for the efficient coordination and execution of towing services while actively contributing to sales objectives. The incumbent will manage incoming service requests, generate accurate price quotations, negotiate payment terms, and close sales transactions. This position entails dispatching appropriate resources, maintaining clear communication with clients and drivers, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring meticulous record-keeping for billing and operational analysis. Effective collaboration with team members via established communication channels is also required to maintain seamless daily operations.
Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of closing sales and maximizing revenue.
- Proven 4+ years of experience as a Sales Specialist, Customer Service, Dispatching or similar roles, preferably in the towing or transportation industry.
- Excellent communication, customer service and sales skills.
- Fluent in English verbally and written
- Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with dispatching, CRM software, GPS tracking systems, and communication devices is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Knowledge of local geography, traffic patterns, and road regulations is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
