Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a Telecommunications Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the field of telecommunications. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our telecommunications systems, as well as implementing new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and maintain telecommunications systems, including voice, data, and video networks
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement telecommunications strategies and plans
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving any telecommunications-related issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for system enhancements and improvements
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality telecommunications services
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of telecommunications systems to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
- Train and educate staff on the proper use and maintenance of telecommunications equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all telecommunications activities and system configurations
Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications systems, protocols, and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of industry best practices and standards
Skills
- Proficiency in telecommunications systems, including PBX, VoIP, and SIP
- Experience with network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, MPLS, Ethernet, and VPN
- Knowledge of telecommunications software, such as call center applications and unified communications platforms
- Familiarity with telecommunications regulations and compliance requirements
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices
