Job Description
- Troubleshoot, repair, recondition, maintain and diagnose equipment on specifically generators, ATS, UPS (static and rotary), PDU & Switchgear – understand how these systems interact and work together.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
- Maintain good client relations and support for corporate marketing objectives.
- Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
- Prepare service reports.
- Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
- Maintain company equipment – keep in good clean orderly condition.
- Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.
Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated technical skill competence. (ie battery testing, UPS preventative maintenance and switchgear.
- Operate and understand diagnostic equipment including computerized instrumentation.
- Professional conduct, and grooming, adhering to company policy.
- Ability to work cooperatively.
- Punctual, having acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.
- Communicate verbally and in writing appropriate information about advanced electrical components of backup power system including reserve power batteries, generator, ATS, UPS (static and rotary), PDU & Switchgear.
