Job Description:**Responsibilities:**
The incumbent will be responsible for:
* **Detailed Drawing Development and Preparation:** Generating comprehensive construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, utilizing AutoCAD to ensure accuracy and quality. This includes collaborating with architects and engineers to accurately translate design intent into technical documentation.
* **Technical Review and Coordination:** Conducting thorough reviews of architectural drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Coordinating with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to facilitate seamless integration of building systems. Identifying and resolving potential design conflicts or discrepancies, as well as preparing bills of quantities and tender documents.
* **Regulatory Compliance Assurance:** Maintaining current knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations. Verifying adherence of design solutions to all applicable codes and requirements and assisting in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities.
* **Construction Technical Support:** Providing technical support to contractors and construction teams by responding to technical queries. Reviewing shop drawings and submittals to ensure conformance with design intent, and conducting site visits to monitor construction progress and address issues.
Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical office role, Working in banking sector projects is an advantage
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Photoshop.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building construction, materials, and methods.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information.
- Problem-solving: Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Teamwork: Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
