Job Description:**Responsibilities:**
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
* **Tender Studies & Pricing:** Conducting comprehensive reviews of architectural drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to develop detailed cost estimates for the architectural scope of new projects. This includes identifying potential project risks, value engineering opportunities, and proposing cost-effective solutions. Collaboration with estimation and procurement teams is required to ensure pricing aligns with current market conditions.
* **Material Submittals:** Preparing and submitting architectural material submittals in accordance with project specifications and the requirements of consultants and clients. This involves coordinating with suppliers and vendors to obtain technical data sheets, samples, and compliance certificates, as well as ensuring timely approvals through consistent follow-up with consultants and meticulous tracking of submittal logs.
* **Shop Drawings & BIM:** Developing accurate and detailed shop drawings utilizing Revit (Building Information Modeling). The role necessitates the coordination of architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), and other disciplines. Adherence to BIM standards and ensuring Level of Development (LOD) compliance of models, as per project requirements, is critical. Furthermore, managing revisions, approvals, and the issuance of final drawings for construction are essential duties.
* **Project Support:** Providing technical clarification and assistance to the project execution team. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. The role also requires the provision of technical input during project meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors.
