Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of technical projects within our organization. The Technical Manager will be responsible for developing project plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring the successful completion of all technical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for all technical projects
- Coordinate resources, including team members, equipment, and materials, to ensure project completion
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any issues or concerns
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project success
- Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of project goals
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as engineering or computer science
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management
- Strong technical expertise in areas such as software development, engineering, or IT infrastructure
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
