Job Description:

  1. Sub-Consultant Coordination
    • Review and manage sub-consultant reports, drawings, and scopes of work to ensure full alignment with project objectives, design standards, and quality expectations.
    • Coordinate inputs and deliverables from sub-consultants, ensuring they meet project milestones and technical requirements.
    • Facilitate effective communication between sub-consultants, clients, and internal teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure alignment across all project disciplines.
    • Monitor and address any discrepancies or concerns in the sub-consultants’ work to maintain consistency with the project vision and requirements.
  2. Coordination Across All Disciplines
    • Manage and oversee coordination efforts across all project disciplines, ensuring seamless integration and alignment in design, execution, and delivery.
    • Collaborate with architectural, MEP, structural, and other teams to streamline processes and identify potential issues early, ensuring all disciplines are integrated into the project’s vision.
    • Facilitate and lead coordination meetings to maintain project progress, resolve conflicts, and align all teams with project objectives and timelines.
    • Maintain oversight on project timelines, ensuring that cross-disciplinary coordination does not cause delays or jeopardize quality standards.
  3. Architect of Record (AOR) Responsibilities
    • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards as part of the Architect of Record responsibilities.
    • Oversee the preparation, review, and timely submission of documentation required by local authorities, ensuring all regulatory standards are met.
    • Manage project-related approvals, licenses, and permits, ensuring compliance with all jurisdictional requirements.
  4. Design and Modeling
    • Leverage Revit, Navisworks, and other advanced software tools for clash detection, 3D coordination, and resolving design conflicts across multiple disciplines.
    • Manage technical issues, propose solutions, and monitor the implementation of those solutions across the project.
    • Collaborate with other design teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural, MEP, structural, and other systems.
  5. Quality Assurance and Technical Documentation
    • Conduct thorough reviews of all project documentation to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design intent and industry standards.
    • Maintain a detailed repository of technical documentation, including specifications, reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other relevant project documentation.
    • Prepare clear, concise reports and responses to RFIs, ensuring timely resolution of queries and maintaining project momentum.
  6. Conflict Resolution and Integration
    • Identify, address, and resolve design conflicts between architectural, MEP, structural, and other project disciplines to ensure a cohesive project outcome.
    • Act as the central link between architectural, MEP, structural, and other departments, ensuring all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.
    • Review and refine submissions from sub-consultants and construction teams to ensure consistency with project goals, technical standards, and quality expectations.
    • Ensure seamless integration of all project components, maintaining alignment across all stakeholders, from concept through to final execution.
  7. Client Liaison
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular, transparent updates on project progress, key milestones, and addressing any technical concerns.
    • Foster strong, professional relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Coordinate and facilitate client meetings, ensuring technical matters are clearly explained and any project concerns are addressed in a timely manner.

Skills:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture 
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant software for design, modeling, and coordination.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local building codes, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
Communication Skills: Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills for effective client, sub-consultant, and team coordination.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills, ensuring technical accuracy and quality in all aspects of documentation and design review.
