Job Description:**Primary Objective:**
To oversee and direct the daily operations of the warehouse and stores functions, ensuring the secure, compliant, and efficient handling of aircraft materials, tools, and equipment. This encompasses adherence to aviation standards and company policies, while maintaining inventory accuracy, service levels to Engineering & Maintenance, and driving continuous improvement within warehouse processes.
**Core Responsibilities:**
* Manages daily warehouse activities, including the receipt, storage, issuance, and return of aircraft parts, tools, and consumables.
* Ensures adherence to regulatory and company standards (EASA/GCAA, SMS, ISO, etc.) in all stores operations.
* Monitors and controls the movement, storage, and calibration of tools and equipment, guaranteeing proper traceability, operational readiness, and compliance with calibration schedules.
* Maintains segregation and control of specialized inventory categories: quarantine stock, hazardous materials (DGR), electrostatic discharge sensitive (ESDS) items, shelf-life controlled items, and scrap.
* Conducts regular warehouse inspections and quality checks, ensuring traceability of all material movements to comply with regulatory and audit requirements.
* Maintains accurate documentation and records to ensure full traceability, aligning with audit and regulatory requirements.
* Supports internal and external audits by maintaining operational readiness, coordinating responses, and ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
* Upholds health, safety, and environmental standards in all warehouse areas through the enforcement of procedures, monitoring of conditions, and promotion of safe work practices.
* Supervises, coaches, and develops a team of storekeepers and assistants, fostering teamwork, accountability, and a customer-centric approach.
* Allocates workloads, sets priorities, and monitors performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain efficiency and service quality.
* Promotes a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement through consistent communication, coaching, and reinforcement of best practices.
* Reviews and develops warehouse processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
* Identifies opportunities to leverage technology (e.g., AMOS Stores, barcoding, automation) for improved stock management and reporting.
* Drives initiatives to reduce stock discrepancies, improve turnaround times, and optimize space utilization.
* Collaborates with management to implement warehouse layouts and establish operational procedures, including inventory systems and safety protocols, to ensure efficient workflow and optimal space utilization.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 3 years of experience).
* Aviation Stores / Warehouse Operations training (preferred).
* Fluent in English.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation materials/stores management, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
* Comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations, Safety Management System (SMS) requirements, and the handling of dangerous goods or hazardous materials.
* Proficiency in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (AMOS, Oracle, or equivalent).
* Experience Level: 7-9 years, commensurate with qualifications.
* IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) – Category 6 or higher certification.
* Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification (desirable).

**Information Security Responsibilities:**
* Reads and complies with the Information Security Requirements (ISR) policies of the Company and diligently reports any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
* Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
