Job Description: **Option 1: (Focus on high-level oversight and strategic management)**
> The incumbent will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the supply chain team, encompassing order processing, inventory administration, procurement, and distribution logistics. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal inventory levels to satisfy production and customer requirements while minimizing excess inventory. The incumbent will manage product transportation and distribution, addressing returns, and ensuring punctual deliveries. Furthermore, this role entails close collaboration with suppliers to secure the timely acquisition of raw materials and supplies, and the resolution of any vendor-related supply chain discrepancies. A continuous focus on evaluating and refining supply chain processes to achieve cost reductions, enhanced efficiency, and elevated customer satisfaction is essential. The incumbent will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports on supply chain performance, and formulate data-driven improvement proposals. Adherence to industry regulations and internal policies, including maintaining comprehensive documentation for shipping, procurement, and inventory, is required. Leadership responsibilities include the training, mentorship, and direction of supply chain personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Collaboration with the sales, production, and finance departments is paramount to ensure alignment of supply chain objectives with overarching corporate strategies.
