Supervising and organizing daily activities of the Supply Chain team, and ensuring they perform the tasks linked to their roleBeing responsible for the order, purchase, stock and freight management in the coordination or in the project level, monitoring and ensuring an efficient implementation of the overall daily supply chain activitiesMonitoring and ensuring a smooth-running supply administration and the respect of the implemented supply procedures, proposing adjustments where needed.Being responsible for the supply database and the correct filing and archiving of the supply documentation in order to guarantee the availability and the coherence of supply dataCommunicating with customers, keeping them up to date concerning their orders status (Back Order confirmation) and prioritizing procurement and transport according to their needsCollecting claims from the field, analyzing causes and making corrective actions.In collaboration with Supply Coordinator and in coordination with the HR department, supervising the associated processes (recruitment, training/induction, briefing/debriefing, evaluation, potential detection, development and communication) of the staff heshe is responsible for in order to ensure both the sizing and Manage and develop reporting system accordingly with mission needs. Review datareports and act accordingly.Guarantee team functionality in case of need absence.Initiate contact when needed with internal and external clients.Support in budget preparation (ARO discussion) the amount of knowledge requiredInforming the Logistics / Supply Coordinator in case of any major issue and draws-up all required reporting, in order to keep updated and reliable information that will help in decision-makingPerforming any other tasks within the scope of his role, as directed by supervision and according to the needs of the mission
Job Requirements :
Education:Essential degree and specialization in Logistics/Supply ChainExperience:Essential in supply chain management (minimum 2 years) and in organization of supply administration and proceduresExperience in the Logistics/Supply Chain in the NGOhumanitarian field is a plus.Essential in warehouse managementProven experience in Procurement steps (RFQ, RFT, contract management, Purchase Orders) as well as Supplier Relationship Management.Experience in the medical equipment and drugs is a plus.Competencies:Demonstrates commitment through loyalty, awareness and respect for MSF’s value.Flexibility to adapt behavior to the need of the situation.Has an understanding attitude towards other people in stressful situations.Results and Quality oriented to work towards objectives, preserving established standards.Cooperation with own team and other teams through sharing info and coordination.Closing Date: 3rd of July 2022
