Job Description:**Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator**
**Position Summary:**
The Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations to ensure the seamless functioning of supply chain processes for Axios International within the UAE and its regional offices. This role necessitates effective coordination with suppliers, management of both national and international shipments, and strict adherence to the regulatory requirements of the UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* **Supply Chain Coordination:** Manage procurement activities, maintain inventory control, and oversee logistics operations across multiple locations to guarantee the timely availability of medicines and medical supplies. This includes coordinating with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners to optimize efficiency and maintaining accurate documentation of shipments, procurement transactions, and inventory records.
* **Logistics & Distribution:** Supervise order processing, shipment tracking, and the timely delivery of products to the UAE and regional offices (KSA, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait). This encompasses handling national and international shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant regional import/export regulations, addressing logistical challenges, optimizing distribution processes, and resolving any supply chain disruptions.
* **Compliance & Reporting:** Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and overall supply chain performance. Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and established quality control standards. Provide support for Pharmacovigilance reporting in accordance with Axios requirements.
* **Administrative & System Management:** Maintain and update electronic records, including supplier data and compliance documentation. Utilize Axios’ Patient Management System (PMS) for tracking and reporting purposes. Provide support for general administrative duties as required.
**Relationships:**
The incumbent will collaborate closely with Axios regional and global teams, suppliers, and logistics providers. Furthermore, the role requires liaison with internal teams (operations, finance, compliance) to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with broader business objectives.
**Required Skills and Knowledge:**
* Demonstrated understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and procurement principles within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
* Comprehensive knowledge of import/export regulations in the UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait, as well as pharmaceutical supply chain compliance standards.
* Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
* Proficiency in supply chain software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
* Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.

Skills:
Educational Background and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Experience in data monitoring and inventory control is an advantage.
- Experience in customer service or supplier coordination is a plus.
Job Circumstances
- This role is based in our Egypt office and remotely supports operations in the UAE and regional offices.
- Occasional travel may be required for supplier or client meetings.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate multiple time zones is essential.
