Subsea Company representative (CSWIP 3.4U & IMCA)

1.     Introduction

The Company Offshore Representative (CoRep) is required tooverall supervise the subsea inspection for the company platforms in Qatar byDivers and Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV) deployed from a Dynamic Position(DP2) support vessel. The survey scope will include the below activities:

·        Visual Inspection (GVI/CVI)

·        Flooded Members Detection (GFMD) 

·        NDT for Critical Joints (ACFM)          

·        Cathodic Protection survey (CP)

·        Wall Thickness Measurements (WTM)

·        Marine Growth Survey (MG)

·        Seabed Scour and Debris Survey

·        Riser and tie-in spool survey

·        Differential settlement survey            

2.    Roles & Responsibilities for the offshore clientrepresentatives

·        Monitors the work being carried out to ensure that it is donesafely and follows approved procedures.

·        Ensures that all relevant certification and audits are in date andthat any close-out actions from those audits have been carried out.

·        Attends project safety meetings and leads the daily projectmeeting.

·        Ensures that any issues raised during the HAZID process or whichare raised during safety meetings are closed out prior to the relevant phase ofthe work to which they refer is started or further progressed.

·        Update the company onshore project manager with work progress andplanning via Daily Progress Reports (DPR), E-mail and telephone.

·        Ensures that the appropriate accident/incident investigation andreporting procedures are followed.

·        Acts as the client focal point during any emergencies on board.

·        Undertakes a daily walk through operational areas to check onprogress, local safety and tidiness.

·        Keeps a detailed log covering the project activities offshore withreference to any specific messages,

Mail or telephone conversations.

3.    Competence and expectations

·        Qualified as underwater Inspection Controller CSWIP 3.4U

·        Proven offshore experience and training for Diving, ROV, survey/inspection,underwater engineering, working from DP2 vessels, and position referencing systems,etc.

·        Familiar with the IMCA Diving, ROV & Survey recommendedpractice publications and the reference guidance documentation.

·        Extensive experience of relevant offshore and subsea operations.

·        Offshore management experience with excellent man management and communicationskills.
