Job Description:The responsibilities of this position encompass the preparation, review, and coordination of structural shop drawings and associated technical documentation, ensuring adherence to project specifications and established standards. The incumbent will collaborate with design, site management, and project management teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure congruence in structural engineering deliverables. This role entails the analysis and resolution of technical inconsistencies, design conflicts, and constructability issues that may arise during project execution. Furthermore, the position requires the execution of quantity take-offs, the preparation of material submittals, and providing assistance in procurement processes related to structural components. Continuous monitoring of project advancement, meticulous tracking of modifications, and consistent updating of documentation to accurately reflect as-built conditions are essential. Strict adherence to safety protocols, quality control measures, and pertinent regulatory mandates is paramount throughout all technical office activities. The role also involves supporting value engineering efforts by suggesting economically viable and innovative structural solutions. Active participation in technical meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions with clients, consultants, and contractors is expected. Generation of comprehensive technical reports, progress summaries, and requisite documentation for internal and external stakeholders is a key responsibility. Finally, maintaining current knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant codes is crucial for optimizing technical office performance.
